>Migration certificate in original, for students other than those passed Kerala Plus 2, VHSE, THSE.

>Allotment Memo (2nd Phase) from CEE.

>Admit card of KEAM Entrance Examination in original.

>Entrance Mark data sheet issued by KEAM - CEE.

>Result sheet of KEAM Entrance Examination in original conducted by CEE.

>Four passport size and two stamp size (colour) photographs.

Fees can be paid either by Draft favouring FISAT payable at Ernakulam/Aluva or by Cash or by online transfer to FISAT Bank Account No: 17140100001036 at Federal Bank Hormis Nagar Branch (IFSC: FDRL0001714). 

** As per the notification by CEE, those who get allotment should remit Rs.10,000/- in favour of CEE, Trivandrum at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. The receipt of the same must be submitted to the college office at the time of admission.

Note:  Fees are subjected to changes by Government/University Orders, time to time.


For those students found eligible for tuition fee exemption under Tuition Fee Waiver scheme or found eligible for lower fees, the Management will return the excess fees realized from the students within one week of intimation of such concession by Commissioner of Entrance Examination.

In such cases, Rs. 50000 will be returned to students eligible under Tuition fee waiver scheme and Rs. 25000 will be returned to students eligible under low income group.

 

FULL FEE WAIVER SCHEME BY MANAGEMENT
The management offers full fee waiver for meritorious students who secure ranks up to 4000 and admitted in FISAT through Govt. Quota. They have to remit the required fees in the bank as notified by CEE and produce the receipt for refund of the amount. Sustained progress is required to continue in the scheme in higher semesters.

FULL TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME
The AICTE approved Tuition Fee Waiver scheme is implemented in the college. Accordingly 5% of the total intake will be filled under this scheme. These seats will be filled by the Govt. and eligibility for admission will be as per the norms of this scheme. The selection is made purely on the basis of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination rank list and family income.

50% seats of the sanctioned intake of students in B Tech courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Admission Highlights:

> Admissions to B.Tech Programmes are strictly based on merit thorough Govt. Quota and Management Quota

Eligibility for admission to the B.Tech programme, admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by following the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and other statutory body such as APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), AICTE etc.

  1. Govt. Quota seats will be allotted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations based on KEAM 2018 Rank.
     
  2. College code for Govt. Quota is FIT.
     
  3. For Govt. Quota seats, candidates have to apply online with the college code FIT and branch of preference as and when announced by the Commissioner of the Entrance Examination.

DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The MCA programme started in Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) in the year 2006. MCA Department has a team of competent and committed faculty and very good infrastructure facilities. Systematic Teaching – Learning process and other regular academic activities produced many academic achievements which include first ranks in 2010, 2012, 2015, second rank in 2015 and third rank in 2011, 2016 (MCA-two year programme) in MG University MCA examinations.

Regular industrial visits and personality development trainings are part of the academic programme to improve the employability. Reputed MNCs have recruited many of our graduates in their campus placement drives.

MCA (Three Year)

  • Three year Post graduate programme consisting of six semesters.
  • The annual intake is 60.
  • The course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.


Lateral MCA (Two Year)

  • Two year Post graduate programme consisting of four semesters.
  • The annual intake is 60.
  • The course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.


ELIGIBILITY

MCA (Three Year)

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level.
  • Percentage of qualifying marks as stipulated by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and other statutory authorities (However 50% marks is desirable).
  • Must qualify entrance examination conducted by a competent authority as per the rules and regulations of APJ/AICTE/Govt.


Lateral MCA (Two Year)      

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a Course at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level.
  • Percentage of qualifying marks as stipulated by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and other statutory authorities (However 50% marks is desirable).
  • Must qualify entrance examination conducted by a competent authority as per the rules and regulations of APJ/AICTE/Govt.


The Entrance examination for admission to MCA courses (Regular and Lateral) 2018-2019 will be held on 01-07-2018 (Sunday).The students who have taken provisional admission under Management quota are directed to attend the Entrance Examination. For More details visit http://lbscentre.in

6. Transfer Certificate in original from the Institution last studied.

8. Migration certificate in original, for students who have passed degree from Universities out of Kerala.

9. Eligibility certificate from KTU, for students who have passed degree from Universities out of Kerala.

10. Admit card of Entrance Examination in original (For three year MCA programme).

11. Result sheet of the Entrance Examination in original (For three year MCA programme).

12. Four passport size & three stamp size (color) photographs.

13. True copy of Aadhaar card.

14. A candidate who is employed or is a trainee in Govt. / Quasi Govt. /Banks etc. shall, at the time of interview, produce a relieving order and a certificate of good conduct from the head of the institution where the candidate was employed.

Govt. Quota

50% of the total seats in each of the course are set apart as Govt. quota seats. Candidates interested in Govt. quota seats have to register their names online in the website of Director of Technical Education (DTE) www.dtekerala.gov.in.as per their notification expected shortly. DTE will prepare a rank list by considering the candidate’s Gate score/aggregate marks obtained up to 6th semester in qualifying degree examination. Candidates qualified in ranking by DTE have to submit their applications directly to FISAT for admissions. FISAT will publish a merit list from the applications received, based on the ranking by DTE, and the seats will be filled on inter se merit, observing the Reservation Rules as per G.O (P)208/66/Edn. dated 02-05-1966. G O (MS) 95/08/SCSTDD dated 06-10-2008 and as modified from time to time by the Govt.

Management Quota

The remaining 50% seats are under management Quota. Admission to Management seats is conducted by the Management. Admission is strictly on the basis of merit. Applications are available at the college office on request. Candidates need submit only one application for Govt./Management Quota.

 

1. Eligibility for Admission

Eligibility will be subject to the rules and regulations of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) /AICTE/Govt.

1.1 The candidates should have studied in the graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE/Deemed Universities and must have scored  minimum of 60% marks in Graduate Degree examination in the appropriate branch of engineering.

1.2 For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the above mentioned degrees is sufficient.

1.3 The candidates shall be an Indian National.

1.4 Candidates who have degrees awarded from other Universities shall submit Eligibility Certificate as well as Migration Certificate at the time of admission.

1.5 Valid GATE score

1.6 In the case of non GATE candidates, procedure followed in Govt. will be considered.

1.7 Candidates who have appeared for the final examination can also apply provided he/ she has passed all the subjects up to and including the 6th semester exam. Such candidate shall submit self attested copies of all mark lists up to 6th semester along with the application. Selection of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree satisfying clauses (1.1 to 1.6)

1.8 Admission procedure is subject to modification as may be deemed necessary subject to further orders, if any, passed by appropriate authorities.

2. How to Apply

Candidates, who wish to apply, need submit only one application offline to consider for both Management/Govt Quota.

2.1 Download the application form from the “Download offline Application” link. The application form needs to be filled up with ball point pen.

The filled up application form along with the application fee as Demand Draft (DD) for Rs. 350 and all necessary documents should be sent to the postal address of the college.

* Students graduated from FISAT will get a scholarship if Rs. 5000/- per semester. This will be continued in the higher semsters on the basis of satisfactory academic performance.

 

         The fee structure is fixed as per Govt. norms, which are approved by the Govt. Changes if any in the fee structure for the academic year 2016-17 will be decided by the Management based on directions if any from the statutory bodies/ Government/ University/ Court of law.

MBA Admissions 2018

Eligibilty

ŸA pass in degree examination with 50% marks (60% marks desirable) in aggregate for Arts /Commerce /Science/ Engineering and for post graduates. Final year students are also eligible to apply

ŸGood score in any Management Aptitude Test- C-MAT/CAT/KMAT(The minimum qualifying cut off marks of KMAT Kerala Entrance Examination shall be 15% (108/720) for General Category from the academic year 2017. The minimum cut off for SEBC will be 10% (72/720) and 7.5% (54/720) for SC/ST)

Selection

The selection of candidates is purely based on merit. Admission to the MBA programme is determined by the scores obtained by the candidate in the admission test, group discussion,personal interview and a consistent academic record.

Application form and prospectus can be obtained directly either at the college office or at FBOA centre ,Aluva by paying Rs 700/- Application form and prospectus can be downloaded from our website, www.fbs.ac.in or www.fisat.ac.in and the filled up application form can be forwarded to the college office along with a demand draft of Rs. 750/- in favour of FISAT , payable at Ernakulam.
