Two Day Workshop on Digital Fabrication Techniques
Course 1: 14th & 15th July 2017

Course 2: 21st & 22nd July 2017
Venue: FISAT FABLAB

Dear All,

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) has started a mini fabrication laboratory with the support of A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University and Kerala start up mission (KSUM) in the college campus. FISAT Fablab is functioning as an auxiliary body of FISAT Science and Technology Park and Research Centre. A Fabrication Laboratory (FABALAB) is a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention which aims at providing stimulus for students and serves as a platform for learning and innovation. It is a small scale workshop offering digital fabrication techniques which empowers the students and other users to create smart devices for themselves which can be tailored to local or personal needs. The FabLab also becomes a medium for connecting to a global community of learners, educators, technologists, researchers and innovators – essentially becoming a self-sustaining global knowledge sharing network. We welcome faculty members of engineering college to participate in this two day workshop on Digital Fabrication Techniques and utilize the opportunity to learn new paradigm in engineering education.
