Dr. George Issac, B.Sc Engg., M.Tech, Ph.D

Dr. George Issac has taken charge as Principal of FISAT. He was the Principal of Mar Athanasius Engineering College Kothamangalam from June 2007 to May 2015. Dr. George Issac received B.Sc Engg (Mech.) degree from the University of Kerala in 1981. He took M.Tech in 1984 and Ph.D in 2003 from I I T Madras. He joined Kothamangalam Engineering College in 1982. In 2007, he was appointed Principal there. He was Expert Committee Member, Syllabus Revision Committee Member, Board of studies Member, in M G University during this time. He has published seven papers in international refereed journals. He is a Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).


Dr. C Sheela, MSc, MPhil, CSIR(NET), Ph.D

Dr. C Sheela completed her M.Sc. in Mathematics from UC College, Aluva in 1988, and did her M.Phil. from Calicut University. She has her PhD in Fuzzy Topology from Cochin University. She has received CSIR-SRF Award. She has presented papers in many national/international conferences. In her 32 years of experience as teacher, she had guided many B.Tech projects. Dr. Sheela had worked as Principal-in-charge of IHRDE college. She is an active member of Kerala Mathematical Association and now serves as the regional secretary of the association. She is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).


Dr. Sunny Kuriakose, M.Sc., Ph.D

Dr. Sunny Kuriakose did his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at Union Christian College, Alwaye in 1979 and M.Sc. degree in Mathematics at Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1981. He joined the Department of Mathematics, Union Christian College as a junior lecturer on September 22, 1981. Dr. Sunny Kuriakose completed his doctoral studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology under the guidance of Dr. T. Thrivikraman and was awarded Ph. D. degree in 1995. He was promoted as Reader in Mathematics in 1995 and became an approved research guide in Mathematics of the M. G. University in 1999.
Dr. Sunny Kuriakose was appointed as the Principal of Baselios Poulose II Catholicos College, Piravom, an aided college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, on January 28, 2010. During his tenure as Principal, the College got A-Grade NAAC accreditation. Dr. Sunny was elected to the Senate of Mahatma Gandhi University with a massive mandate. He also served as member of the Board of Studies of PG/UG Mathematics programmes in Mahatma Gandhi and Kerala Universities. He contributed immensely to the introduction of Choice Based Credit and Semester System in M.G and Kerala Universities. He served as a member in the panel of experts in Mathematics for the appointment of teachers in Mahatma Gandhi University. His contribution in forming the syllabi for undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes in Mahatma Gandhi and Kerala Universities has been well appreciated.
Dr. Sunny Kuriakose supervised 16 Ph.D.s in Mathematics under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He has the rare distinction of successfully supervising the first Ph. D. in Mathematics from a research centre in an affiliated college in Kerala. He has published more than 70 research papers in various national and international journals. His research interest includes Fuzzy Logic, Graph Theory, Decision Theory etc. Dr. Sunny has already delivered more than 200 invited lectures at various national and international seminars and conferences in India and abroad. He authored two books and edited a number of volumes.
Dr. Sunny Kuriakose is an active member of the Kerala Mathematical Association. He served the Association as its General Secretary for eight years and now serves as the Academic Secretary of the Association. He is a qualified Kerala State Basketball Referee too.
Dr. Sunny has the visited UAE, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Hongkong and Malaysia.
