The regular classes for B.Tech 1st year will commence on 26th July 2017. All the newly admitted students along with their parents are requested to be present for the induction meeting to be held in the college auditorium at 10 AM on 26th July 2017 (Wednesday).

  5. Transfer certificate in original from the institution last studied.
  6. Course and Conduct certificate in original from the institution last studied.
  7. Migration certificate in original, for students other than those passed Kerala Plus 2, VHSE, THSE.
  8. Allotment Memo from CEE.
  9. Admit card of Entrance Examination in original.
  10. Candidate data sheet issued by CEE.
  11. Result sheet of Entrance Examination in original conducted by CEE.
  12. Four passport size and two stamp size (colour) photographs.
  13. Community/ Income certificate as proof in support of any claim for reservation.
  14. Proof for special reservation if applicable.

Note: Candidates who have been admitted in FISAT under Management Quota and now getting allotment in other colleges under Govt. Quota are directed to report the same to the College Office and collect their certificates and get refund of fees remitted.

Those who are admitted in FISAT under Management Quota and now getting allotment in FISAT itself under Govt. Quota also must report to regularize their admission, in the respective branches as per the schedule of CEE. They have to inform the college Ph. 09946160238 or mail to admissions@fisat.ac.in and cancel the Management Quota admission for refund of fees before the Govt. Quota Admissions.

B.Tech  Admission 2017 - 15% Community Quota- (FBOAES) - Govt. Allotment

Children/Grand children of FBOAES members/patrons seeking B.Tech Admission in FISAT under Govt. Community/Society Quota should file their options with Commissioner for Entrance Exams (CEE) as per the schedule to be published in CEE (www.cee-kerala.org) website. Then only, they will be considered for allotment under FBOAES Quota. Please visit www.cee.kerala.gov.in or www.cee-kerala.org

As per the CEE, those students who seek admission under Community/Society quota shall have to submit online options in CEE website, to the desired courses in FISAT (College Code: FIT). They have also to remit the fee shown in the allotment memo at the selected branches of State Bank of India.

Important Note:

  • FISAT Rank list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained for PCM in qualifying examinations and for KEAM 2017, giving weightage of 60% and 40% respectively.
  • The index mark is obtained on the basis of data provided by candidate. At the time of verification of documents, if the data is found to be incorrect, the claim of the candidate will be rejected.
  • Balance seats available after each day's counselling will be published after 5 PM in the website.
  • Failure to report for counselling in the scheduled time will forfeit the claim of the candidate for admission.

The process of B.Tech admission 2017 is started. 

Only those candidates who qualify in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017 (KEAM 2017) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala, will be considered.

Eligibility for admission to the B.Tech. programme, admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by following the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and other statutory body such as APJ Abdul Kalam Tecnological University (KTU), AICTE etc.
Eligibility criteria for admission is currently prescribed by the Government of Kerala through Government orders, which is based on the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.

50% of the total seats in B.Tech courses are set apart as Govt. Quota for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Remaining seats are Management seats allotted on merit by ranking applicants on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and for Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme as supernumerary and seats are also alloted under NRI/PIO category from the management quota as per norms of AICTE/Govt.

Eligibility for Admission under Management Quota

Admission is strictly on the basis of merit.

1. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) put together are eligible for Management seats admission. However average 70% marks for PCM in qualifying examination is desirable.

2. Only those candidates who qualify in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017 (KEAM 2017) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala will be considered.
3. Candidates shall apply directly to FISAT either online or offline for admission:
        a) 50% of the total seats are Management seats and admitted on merit from FISAT rank list based on their academic eligibility and as per norms of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

         b) FISAT rank list is prepared based on the % of marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), in qualifying examination and for Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017 (KEAM 2017) giving weightage of 60% and 40% respectively..

4. AGE: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2017. No relaxation will be allowed.

5. Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India.

Note:- (i) In two year Kerala Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognized equivalent thereto with two year course where the Board Examinations are conducted in both years, the total marks of two years in the respective subjects as shown in the mark lists of the respective Higher Secondary Boards will be considered for academic eligibility.

(ii) In Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognised equivalent thereto where Board Examinations are conducted only at the end of 12th class (final year), the marks in the respective subjects as shown in the mark lists of the respective Higher Secondary Boards will be considered for academic eligibility.

(iii) For all other type of Higher Secondary courses or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, the marks of the respective subjects as shown in the mark list of the respective Board of Examinations will be considered for academic eligibility.*

How to Apply for Management Quota Admission

    1. Instructions for Offline application:

Download the application form from the Download offline Application link. The application form needs to be filled up with ball point pen in his/her own handwriting. The filled up application form along with the application fee as Demand Draft (DD) and all necessary documents should be sent to the postal address of the college. 

    2. Instructions for Online application:

The online application link is available in the website. After submitting the online application, the signed print out of the same along with the application fee as DD and all necessary documents should be sent to the postal address of the college. The application fee of Rs. 350 can also be paid online (Netbanking/Debit card/Credit card) using the link http://register.fisat.ac.in/payonline(If the application fee of Rs. 350 is paid online, the scanned copies of certificates/documents may also be sent to the mail id: admissions@fisat.ac.in)

    3. Application fee (form-200, brochure- 100 and postage-50) = Rs. 350.

   4. Mode of Payment: Application fee of Rs. 350 can be paid by DD drawn on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, in favor of FISAT, payable at Ernakulam/ Aluva. The application fee of Rs. 350 can also be paid online (Netbanking/Debit card/Credit card) using the link http://register.fisat.ac.in/payonline

    5. General Instructions:

a) Candidate should not submit applications both online and offline

b) Affix a passport size (3.5 x 3.5 cm) photograph in the space provided for offline application. The photograph is to be pasted in the print out for online application. 

c) The photograph is to be self attested

d) Applications should be complete in all respects. A candidate will be considered for admission, only if he/she has furnished the relevant certificates prescribed in the Prospectus, in proof of eligibility. 

    6. Copies of certificates/documents to be submitted along with the application. (If the application fee of Rs. 350 is paid online, the scanned copies of certificates/documents may also be sent to the mail id: admissions@fisat.ac.in)

a) Copy of the relevant page of SSLC or equivalent certificate to prove date of birth.

b) Copy of qualifying examination Mark list.

    7.  All copies of certificates shall be self attested

    8. The Applicant & the Parent should sign in the specified areas on the printout of the online application or on the offline application form.

   9. Documents or certificates furnished after submission of the application will not be entertained under any circumstances. No opportunity will be given to incorporate any details after the submission of the application.

  10. All basic information required is to be filled in with utmost care. The data provided in the online or offline application will be used for processing the application. Any error in filling the online or offline application or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will forfeit the candidate's eligibility for admission. Furnishing false information/ particulars would result in the forfeiture of the candidature as well as the cancellation of admission at any stage, even after admission.

Procedure of Selection 

FISAT rank list is prepared based on the % of marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), in qualifying examination and for Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017 (KEAM 2017) giving weightage of 60% and 40% respectively. 

Merit list for the admission will be published in the website. 

Selection will be in the order of merit through open counselling. The date for counselling will be published in the website. 

Candidates are advised to visit the website regularly to get updated information on interview, admission etc. No separate communication will be sent on this account. 

Selected candidates shall take admission at the appointed time and date in the college, after paying the tuition fee and other fees to be paid, failing which the offer of admission will be cancelled.

FULL FEE WAIVER SCHEME BY MANAGEMENT
The management offers full fee waiver for meritorious students who secure ranks up to 3000 and admitted in FISAT through Govt. Quota. They have to remit the required fees in the bank as notified by CEE and produce the receipt for refund of the amount. Sustained progress is required to continue in the scheme in higher semesters.

 

FULL TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME
The AICTE approved Tuition Fee Waiver scheme is implemented in the college. Accordingly 5% of the total intake will be filled under this scheme. These seats will be filled by the Govt. and eligibility for admission will be as per the norms of this scheme. The selection is made purely on the basis of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination rank list and family income.

 


NRI / PIO Quota admission

5% seats of the sanctioned intake are provided for NRI / PIO category and allotted to children and dependants of NRIs and PIOs on the basis of marks obtained for PCM in qualifying examination. These students are admitted by the Management based on their academic eligibility as per APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University norms and exempted from qualifying in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination 2017.

The following documents are to be produced for verification at the time of counseling:
a) Mark list and Pass certificate (where applicable) of Qualifying exam/ Equivalent exam in original with two self attested copies.
b) SSLC / equivalent certificate to prove date of birth with two self attested copies.
c) Physical Fitness certificate in the format provided in the prospectus for Entrance Exam.
d) Transfer certificate from the institution last studied in original.
e) Course and Conduct certificate in original from the institution last studied.
f) Migration Certificate in original for candidates other than those passed Kerala HSE, VHSE &THSE.
g) Copy of Admit card of Entrance Examination.
h) Result sheet of Entrance Examination 2017 conducted by CEE.
i) Four passport size and two stamp size (colour) photographs
j) NRI Declaration Form
j) Copy of Passport of the sponsoring NRI (Self Attested)
k) Copy of Visa of the sponsoring NRI (Self Attested)
