The college canteen is one of the most happening places in the campus. Of course, it is known for its savory food, but it is also the place where you make some of the best memories of your college life. The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect the FISAT community by reducing the risk of food borne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. The College Canteen has been functioning efficiently since the inception of the college in 2002. The canteen is located inside the College at one of the most accessible places . The hostellers and day scholars are provided meals by assuring food safety, quality and quantity. The students, who come from faraway places, start their journey to the College before dawn and the canteen is a blessing for them. The mid-day meal is provided. Even many day-scholars use canteen facilities for their breakfast and evening tea with snacks.

The Management of the Canteen is directly under the control of the College Administration. The canteen contract is given only to reputed people in the field of food and hospitality after considering quotations received. A well-experienced person in food services management and his team together manages the canteen of FISAT. The menu is planned by the assigned team of Management and instructions are given to the Contractor.  The contract of the Canteen Is renewed every year. The periodical meeting is conducted by the team of Management and Contractor to appraise the function of the Canteen, Suggestions, complaints, and problems, if any, of the food consumers are all taken into consideration and are acted upon accordingly.

The waste utilization of the canteen is carried out efficiently through the waste recycling plant installed within the campus. The cleanliness inside and around the canteen is maintained on a regular basis. The canteen facility is provided in the campus for day scholars, guests, teaching and non-teaching staff of the College. The management is committed to maintain the quality of the canteen for the benefit of all the stakeholders.
