B.Tech, M.Tech in Building Engineering and Management and Ph.D in Energy in Buildings

2 years and 6 months

After completion of B.Tech in Civil Engineering in 2003 from N. S. S. College of Engineering, Palakkad, I completed Masters in Building Engineering and Management from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Soon after post graduation, I was placed in a Project Management Consultancy Firm named 'Synergy Property Development Services Pvt. Ltd' in Bangalore. The job as a Project Co-ordinator provided good exposure in construction management and practical challenges involved in building design and construction co-ordination. The work experience inculcated interest in energy management in buildings which encouraged me to pursue research in energy in buildings. After a short term job as project assistant in Civil Engineering department in IIT Kanpur, I joined for full time doctoral research programme in Civil Engineering department in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. After completion of Ph.D programme, I joined Federal Institute of Science and Technology in 2014 as Asst. Professor in Civil Engineering, to pursue my career in academics and research.
