Mrs. Asha Joseph completed her B.Tech in Civil Einginerring from Government Engineering College , Thrissur in 1997 with honours. She has received best student in civil engineering award from Architects and Engineer’s Association in 1997. After completing her B.Tech, she worked as design Engineer in structural design firms and as apprentice engineer in Puthur gramma Panchayath. She has completed her M.Tech in Computer Aided Structural Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam in 2007. She has secured first rank in MG University in the year 2007. She has started her teaching career at Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam. She worked as Assistant Professor in IES College of Engineering, Chittilappilly, Thrissur for more than six years and published a text book ‘ Basics of Civil Engineering. Over a period of time, she has taught many subjects including Basic Civil Engineering, Strength of Materials, Structural Analysis, Structural Design, Finite element analysis and Earthquake engineering. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala.
