Parvathy R completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from College of Engineering Trivandrum and post graduation in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Control and Instrumentation from IIT Madras. She started her career as Lecturer at Amrita Institute of Technology and Science, Amritapuri on July 1, 2002. Later on June 23, 2004 she joined Federal Institute of Science And Technology. She is a Dale Carnegie Certified Faculty. She was awarded PhD degree by Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT) for her research in Active Disturbance Rejection Control in 2019. She has been selected as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and Asian Journal of Control. Her areas of interests are Control Algorithms, Disturbance Rejection Techniques, Robotics and Teaching Methodologies. She is a KTU recognized research guide. She has a research collaboration with Dr. Dipak Kumar Giri, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kanpur.
