Outstanding and dedicated faculty, well-equipped laboratories and library, and environment to learn and collaborate is the hallmark of FISAT’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. Personally, as an aspiring engineer, I had great academic experience at FISAT with exceptional mentorship and timely advice to advance my career. I developed the solid knowledge and toolset at the EEE department to be a successful engineer that includes good analytical skills, good problem solving and programming skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and other relevant industry-ready toolsets. Moreover, FISAT is a stunning campus with an excellent academic atmosphere.

Looking back at the 4 years that I spent in Engineering, there are so many memories that come as my flashback. I had the pleasure of completing my graduation from FISAT under the guidance of highly efficient teachers of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. It was a wonderful experience at FISAT with an excellent exposure provided across the various platforms. The faculty are very supportive and encourage students to push boundaries to rise above expectations. FISAT targets for an overall development of every student, be it education, cultural awareness or political exposure of business world like industrial exposure. The placement activities are pretty good and come with a training given on how to conduct oneself and face interviews confidently. The ambience of the campus is very positive and the whole experience is excellent and there is always support and motivation from the management to pursue the dreams of every student

I am a 2012 Alumni of FISAT  (B. Tech. EEE). FISAT is one of the best Engineering colleges in Kerala and Electrical department is one of the finest departments. The faculty of my department were very supportive in developing our technical and non technical skills. I am extremely thankful to the Electrical Department and entire faculty team for giving us extra support and assistance in cracking the competitive GATE examination. I got my first job through GATE 2012 and got recruited in Damodar Valley Corporation, the first multipurpose river valley project of India.  Now I am working as Assistant Manager, Electrical at CIAL Infrastructures Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin International Airport. My current portfolio is the execution and maintenance of Renewable Energy (Solar and Hydel) projects for the Airport.
