Dr. Nishida A completed her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur in 2010 and M Tech in Environmental Geotechnology from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut in 2012. She worked as Senior Lecturer at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India from 23rd July 2012 to 8th February 2013, Assistant Professor at Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology, Pampakuda, India from 11th February 2013 to 3rd February 2017, Teaching Assistant at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad, India from 4th February 2017 to 10th May 2017, Assistant Professor at KMEA Engineering College, Kuzhivelippady, India from 1st August 2017 to 13th June 2018, Assistant Professor at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, Varikoli, India from 2nd July 2018 to 23rd December 2022. She has also worked as Guest Faculty in the Division of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kalamassery, India. She completed her PhD in Immobilisation Enhanced Phytoremediation of Heavy Metal Contaminated Soil, from Division of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kalamassery in 2025. She joined FISAT as Assistant Professor in January, 2026. Her research interests include soil contamination, ground improvement techniques and sustainable soil remediation practices.
