Besides the central library, the department has its own library facility which is an extension of the central library. The department library started functioning in 2003. The library has an extensive collection of books for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The titles cover different areas of electrical, electronics and computer engineering like basics of electrical engineering, electrical machines, electronics, measurement and instrumentation, power system, power electronics, microprocessors, computer  programming, etc.

The department library is available for students and staff during college working hours.

The Department Library of CSE has a good collection of books, mainly of the Computer Science and Engineering related subjects and hard copies of previous year project reports. Apart from these, provision has been done to enable the access of the wide variety of digital resources including e-journals, e-magazines, soft copies of previous year project reports, University Question Papers, etc. which are available in DSpace’ digital library. Also it is possible to search, reserve or check the status of any book in the Main library through Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) in the fisat intranet. Students need to record their entry and exit timings in the login register to access either department library books for reference or digital library.

Facility to conduct small meetings of various clubs or class committees, or classes or presentations makes the Department Library more lively. Furthermore, an excellent Museum of a variety of components and types of computers and peripherals have been setup in the Department Library to gift every visitor a glimpse of the evolution of Computer Technology.

A  sufficient number of books on science and humanities are available in the Department library. Separate Stock Registers and issue registers are properly maintained. Purchase to the department library is through the central library and complimentary copies from the publisher are also added in the stock. Department library is open during college working hours. The department library is stocked with books for UG and PG programmes.

Each Department has a well stacked department library that are subunits of the Central library. There are more than 300 volumes of books which are specific to the courses offered. These books are accessible to both students as well as faculty members. Bound volumes of seminar and project reports are also available for student references. Purchase to the department library is through the central library and complimentary copies from the publisher are also added in the stock. Department library is open during college working hours. The Department Library of Computer Applications  has an extensive collection of books and hard copies of students’ project reports.. The titles cover different areas of computer science and applications domain. Remote access to e-resources, e-journals like IEEE, Elsevier Science Direct etc can be accessed through Knimbus platform. The library has good reading room facilities and  WiFi connectivity to help students to have informative time spend in the reference sections. The department library can be accessed by both the students and faculty during college working hours.

LIBRARY – A well stocked reference library is available exclusively in MBA Programme. It is fully automated with 8000 volumes of text book and more than 70 journals. There is also a book bank facility in the library for the benefit of the students. Fully computerized FISAT Library with online access having more than 53,000 volumes of text books and over 190 International / National Journals, 10000 CDs and DVDs etc is open for all students. Internet based services in the Library facilitate users to make the best advantage of library facilities.
