FISAT Business School strives to develop world class executives capable of managing change and dealing with challenges. In line with this, the FBS curriculum is complemented by a rich variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to ensure a comprehensive and balanced development. The student forum serves as a platform for students to excel in extra-curricular activities.
The Forum of Management Students (FMS) is the student body of FISAT Business School with a goal of making the FBS experience as rewarding and enjoyable as possible. The FMS is headed by elected student representatives from both the senior and junior batches. For every academic year, elections are conducted for the posts of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer. The positions of the Vice President and Joint secretary are reserved for the Junior batch of MBA students (Semester 1), while the others for the senior batch MBA students (Semester 3).
FMS provides stimulating avenues for professional development to students who, along with the FBS team organise and participate in a wide range of cultural and professional events. Social outreach programs are also organised which help build a sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards the society.
These collaborative efforts by students help deepen their understanding of individual leadership, teamwork, challenge management, thereby creating responsible leaders of tomorrow.
