Mentoring System

A well-structured and healthy mentoring system is in place in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) to support the academic, professional, and personal development of students. For each B.Tech class, three faculty mentors are assigned, while one faculty mentor is allotted for each M.Tech class. Each mentor guides approximately 20–25 students, ensuring effective individual attention and continuous monitoring of student progress.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)

PSO1 – Graduates will be able to analyze, design, and solve practical problems in electrical systems with emphasis on efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

 

PSO2 – Graduates will develop programming skills and use modern software and simulation tools to model, analyze, and design electrical and electronic systems.

 

PSO3 – Graduates will gain practical skills in electronics and embedded systems to create and implement sustainable solutions for society.

 

Programme Outcome (PO)

PO1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

Introduction

 

FISAT Business School (FBS), established and managed by Federal Bank Officers Association Educational Society (FBOAES), is a Management Institution under the aegis of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and recognized by AICTE. FBOAES, formed with the aim of establishing a Center of Excellence for professional education, is an initiative of the Federal Bank Officers Association (FBOA), the sole representative body of the entire officers in The Federal Bank with 35 years of yeomen services to its credit. This is a novel venture from the Federal fraternity, which has operations spread over the entire span of the country and overseas as well.

The MBA programme at FBS is designed to provide the knowledge, attitude and skills that are essential to become an effective leader in a multitude of organizational settings. We emphasis on the holistic development of the students and the course work is designed to inculcate a positive and ethical outlook to the students We also have regular interaction sessions with leaders and practising managers from leading business enterprises Workshops and Seminars with joint participation of visiting faculties from business and our students is a regular feature.
At FBS we take it as our proud policy that FBS stands also for Faculty-driven Business School. In letter and spirit we ensure that the faculty plays a major role in running the B school.
