Profile

Ms. Deepa K completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from NSS college of Engineering Palakkad, and her post-graduation in Embedded System Design from RSET ,Kakkanad. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and is currently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of Smart Grid Technologies at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. Her research focuses on intelligent monitoring, state estimation, prediction, and diagnostics in modern power systems. Her areas of interest include Smart Grids, Power System State Estimation, Wide Area Monitoring Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications in Power Systems, Renewable Energy Integration, Demand Response, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, and Blockchain-enabled Energy Trading. She actively contributes to student mentoring, Outcome-Based Education, NBA accreditation activities, industry–institution interaction, and technical training programmes. She also serves as the Yoga Coordinator at FISAT.
