Profile

With a varied experience of teaching Management subjects at the Bachelor’s and Masters’ level across a number of reputed B-schools Dr. Anoo Anthony is more of a generalist, teaching core papers like Research Methodology and Business Analytics to management students in their formative semesters and with proven expertise across operations elective courses. She started her full time teaching career at Dr John Matthai Center as Faculty for the MBA program run by Calicut University. Leaving full time employment to do full time research at School of Management Studies, Cochin University led to a PhD in three years. Her Doctoral work translated into a Palgrave Macmillan (now Springer Nature) hardbound book titled ‘SMEs in Indian Textiles: The Impact of Globalization in a Developing Market’ that has 700+ chapter downloads, to date. Dr Anoo Anthony also conceptualised, developed and formally instituted the only ISSN numbered Print Journal of FISAT titled FORUM: South Asian Perspectives on Management and Social Sciences with six print issues till date. She is part of the College Newsletter- Impetus Editorial Board and former Editor, departmental newsletter- Forum. With a post- doctoral teaching experience of nine years and success rates of 90 percent and more for subjects taught, she has been able to provide management aspirants at FBS deeper perspectives. Her research interests include mixed method research and grounded theory.
