Dr. Jiji Antony
Professor & HoD

Dr. Jiji Antony received her Bachelor degree of Technology in Civil Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, Kerala in 1995. In 2005, she received her Master’s degree in M.Tech Structural Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, Kerala. She started her teaching profession as Lecturer at Bharatiyar College of Engineering, TamilNadu in 1998 and worked as Assistant Professor at S.C.M.S School of Engineering, Karukutty for 2 years. Since 2005, she is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering at Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, Kerala, India. She was awarded the best teacher award at FISAT in the year 2015. She is currently pusuing her PhD at Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.

A vivid enthusiast of agriculture, she was instrumental in implementing Polyhouse farming facility in FISAT which was the first among engineering colleges. An active environmentalist she has headed a Plastic free zone campaign in ecologically fragile zones of Western Ghats.
