Dr. Mini P R
Vice Principal

Dr Mini P R joined FISAT as a lecturer in 2002 and has served as Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering during the period 2002-2006 and 2008-2021. She was instrumental in establishing the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in FISAT and setting up the various labs for UG and PG programs. Under her headship the department won several accolades including many B Tech and M Tech ranks both under M G University and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The department also has a very commendable placement record.During the years 2021 to 2023, Dr. Mini P R held the positions of Dean (Academic Affairs) and IQAC Coordinator.   She also served as the college’s coordinator for NBA and NAAC accreditations, successfully guiding it to an A+ in the second round of NAAC accreditation in 2023.

Dr. Mini P R received her BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and M Tech in Digital Systems and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. She received PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has been associated with FISAT since its inception. Her earlier teaching stints were at Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetam, Coimbatore and Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. She is a lifetime member of ISTE.
