Dr. Nishanth R received his Ph.D. in VLSI Design from Anna University, Chennai. He obtained his Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics and Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He has over 18 years of teaching experience in engineering education. Since July 2026, he has been associated with the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Kerala. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. His areas of interest include VLSI Design, Approximate Computing, and Low-Power Digital Circuit Design. He has published several research papers in reputed journals and conferences and is actively involved in research, student mentoring, and academic development.
