Profile

Dr. Rabiya Rasheed, completed her B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Govt. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam, M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Industrial Drives and Control from Govt. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam and PhD degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in the topic “A Reduced Switch Multilevel Inverter Topology For DC-AC Conversion”. She did postdoc in Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Germany in the area of “Battery Recycling” for a period of 6 months. She started her career as Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at SNGCE, Kadayiruppu in July 2005. In August 2005, she joined KMEA Engineering College, Edathala as Lecturer and continued in service till 2010. In 2010 she joined as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, Kerala, India and still continuing in service .Over a period of time, she has taught many subjects including Electromagnetic Theory, Control Systems, Electrical Machines, Analog Electronics, Linear Integrated Circuits, Power Electronic Circuits. She is the staff in charge of the Electrical Machines Lab.
