Dr. Sumanlal M R is currently a Professor (since June 2021) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamally. He joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in July 2011. He earned his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. He completed M.Tech in Heat Power Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal in 2007. His bachelor degree is from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam. He started his career as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady in 2002 and later joined SCMS school of Engineering and Technology in 2010. He has published Papers in the referred international journals and proceedings of international and national conferences. His research interests are in the areas of combustion, IC Engines and heat transfer.
