Sreerath S is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT), Kerala. With over seven years of experience at FISAT and more than a year at Nirmala College of Engineering, he has consistently contributed to academic excellence and student development. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering and Construction Management, both from Mahatma Gandhi University. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal.
Sreerath is deeply passionate about understanding the behavior of construction materials and their impact on the built environment. His academic interests span across material investigation, structural analysis, and structural design. He has hands-on expertise in a range of tools including AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, which support both his technical and creative pursuits in teaching, research, and event coordination.
In addition to his academic role, he has actively contributed to the professional community by organizing several key events. He is the Convenor of SECONā24 and SECONā25, the International Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction Management hosted by FISAT. He also served as the Convenor of NIRMAN 2k18, the Build Expo conducted by the Department of Civil Engineering.
