Profile

Ms. Aiswariya Raj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT). She completed her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam, and her M.Tech in Signal Processing from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram. She has been serving at FISAT since January 2011 and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).

With over a decade of teaching experience, she has handled a wide range of core undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Signals and Systems, Network Theory, Solid State Devices, Analog Circuits, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communication, Digital Image Processing, Control Systems, and Embedded Systems. She is recognized for her strong conceptual foundation, student-centric teaching methodology, and ability to effectively bridge theoretical knowledge with practical implementation.

Her areas of interest include Image Processing, Computer Vision, Digital Image Forensics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE). She actively contributes to academic and institutional development through curriculum design, project mentoring, organizing workshops and faculty development programmes, and fostering industry–academia collaborations. She is committed to nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and technical excellence among students while continuously engaging in professional growth and lifelong learning.
