Ms. Jeslin P. Jo is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, currently serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Federal Institute of Science & Technology (FISAT). She has over 15 years of teaching experience, spanning reputed engineering institutions, and has been associated with FISAT since July 2013, contributing significantly to academics, research, accreditation, and outreach activities.
She completed her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology, Mahatma Gandhi University, in 2009, and obtained her M.Tech in Applied Electronics from Jaya Engineering College, Anna University, in 2012. Her strong academic foundation is reflected in her effective delivery of core and advanced ECE subjects.
Notably, she is the inventor of a published patent (2024) titled “Real Time Health Monitoring System: Portable ECG & SpO₂ with Cloud-Based Doctor Interaction”, highlighting her contribution to applied healthcare technologies.
She currently serves as the NBA Co-Coordinator for the ECE Department and is actively involved in the Social Outreach Cell, promoting community engagement and student social responsibility. She has also served as Staff-in-Charge of SWAN in the past. She is a professional member of ISTE and has earned recognition including Top 5% in the NPTEL course on Effective Engineering Teaching Practices.
