Profile

Ms. Jilu George is a dedicated academician and researcher serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at FISAT. With over 17 years of teaching experience, she has consistently demonstrated a passion for excellence in engineering education, research, and academic leadership. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and an M.E. in Embedded System Technologies from Anna University, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Medical Image Analysis at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.

Her research interests span Medical Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Embedded Systems, reflecting a strong blend of core electronics and emerging AI-driven technologies. She has published research papers in reputed journals and conferences, holds a published patent, and actively serves as a reviewer for international conferences. Recognized for her academic contributions, she has received appreciation as an NPTEL mentor and continues to contribute to NBA accreditation, quality assurance initiatives. She is a Life Member of ISTE and actively contributes to academic and accreditation activities.
