Ms. Joice T holds both a Masterâs and a Bachelorâs degree in Computer Applications and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Amrita University. She presently serves as an Assistant Professor (Special Grade) in the Department of Computer Applications at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), where she has been a faculty member since 2006.
Throughout her tenure as a faculty member, Ms. Joice has taught a diverse range of subjects, including Programming in Java and C++, Web Programming, Data Structures, System Software, Computer Graphics, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Python Programming, and the Internet of Things. She began her teaching career at the DePaul Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, before joining FISAT in September 2014.
Her research interests span the Internet of Things (IoT), Deep Learning, and Federated Learning, with a strong focus on applying advanced computational methods to real-world problems. She has filed a patent for an Automated Heart Disease Prediction System using Ensemble Deep Learning Methods, reflecting her commitment to innovation and excellence.
Ms. Joice has contributed extensively to academia through teaching, research, and innovation, and continues to explore emerging technologies to address critical challenges in IoT security, machine learning applications, and privacy-preserving data analytics.
