Ms. Manju Joy is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Applications at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, and her Master’s degree in Computer Applications from MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram. With more than 18 years of teaching experience, she has been associated with FISAT since October 2007. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. Her research interests include Text Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and related areas of Artificial Intelligence.
Over the course of her academic career, she has taught a wide range of subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Java and C++ Programming, Android Programming, Data Structures, Linux and Shell Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Computer Graphics, System Software, and Operating Systems. Prior to joining FISAT, she served as a faculty member at De Paul Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, and as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Naval Base, Kochi. She has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), conferences, workshops, and outreach programmes. She is a Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a member of ACM-W. She has also published research papers in various international journals and conferences.
