Ms. Surumi Hassainar
Assistant Professor(Special Grade)

Mrs. Surumi Hassainar completed her B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Science and Technology, Kottayam and M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in Power Systems from Government Engineering College, Trissur. She started her career as a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Ilahia College of Engineering & Technology, Muvattupuzha, Kerala in 2005. Since 2011, she is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, Kerala, India. She has handled subjects such as Basic Electrical Engineering, Digital Circuits, Switch gear &Protection, Power Generation, Transmission and Protection, Power Systems I and Advanced Power System Stability. Currently she is pursuing her PhD at Cochin University. She is the staff in charge of the Department Library.
