Prof. (DR) Jacob Thomas V. is presently working as Principal. He joined FISAT on 01-01-2024 He had his graduation in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat and masters in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Madras. His doctoral degree is from IIT Madras on thesis Analysis of Foot Pressure and Stress parameters for various foot sole properties in Diabetic Neuropathy. He also obtained international level 5 certificate in Management and Leadership (QCF). He had about 36 years of experience asan engineer, lecturer, assistant professor, professor and principal in different engineering colleges of a Kerala Govt undertaking organization. He was also member of different statutory academic bodies of different universities and coordinated several national conferences, workshops, faculty development programs Prof. (DR) Jacob Thomas V has published 4 papers in international peer journals and also18 papers in national journals and about 30 national conference papers. He is the member of different professional bodies like Indian Society of Biomechanics, Diabetic Foot Society of India, Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Society of Applied mechanics etc. His areas of interest include biomechanics, bioinstrumentation, finite element analysis, diabetic foot ulcers etc.

Dr. Mini P R is presently the Vice Principal. Dr. Mini P R joined FISAT as a lecturer in 2002 and has served as Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering during the period 2002-2006 and 2008-2021. She was instrumental in establishing the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in FISAT and setting up the various labs for UG and PG programs. Under her headship the department won several accolades including many B Tech and M Tech ranks both under M G University and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The department also has a very commendable placement record.During the years 2021 to 2023, Dr. Mini P R held the positions of Dean (Academic Affairs) and IQAC Coordinator. She also served as the college's coordinator for NBA and NAAC accreditations, successfully guiding it to an A+ in the second round of NAAC accreditation in 2023. Dr. Mini P R received her BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and M Tech in Digital Systems and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. She received PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has been associated with FISAT since its inception. Her earlier teaching stints were at Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetam, Coimbatore and Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. She is a lifetime member of ISTE.

Dr. Unni Kartha G is presently holding the position as Dean (Academics) at FISAT. He is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. Dr. Unni Kartha completed PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala in the area of Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering. His masters is in Structural Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore with First Rank in the year 2002. He was a recipient of GATE scholarship during his post graduation. He completed B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Honours from NSS College of Engineering Palakkad in the year 1999. He started off the career in FISAT in the year 2004 as Lecturer in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining FISAT, he was Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Amrita Institute of Technology and Science, Kollam, Kerala from 2002-2004. Dr. Kartha was the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at FISAT from 2011 to 2021. He played a key role in starting the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Civil Engineering on campus. As the first head of the department of Civil Engineering at FISAT, he was instrumental in the development of the department, including setting up of the labs, faculty recruitment, and documentation systems. He was holding the charge of Placement Officer from 2006 to 2023 and made significant contributions to establish an active placement cell with commendable achievements. His research interests are Soil Structure Interaction, Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering, Finite Element Method, Parallel Computing, Machine learning and Teaching Learning Process. He is actively involved in consultancy work related to structural engineering and material testing. He is an affiliated member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is actively associated with the student chapter of the campus. He is also a life member of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGC).. At FISAT, Dr. Kartha is actively involved in many committees and played key role in AICTE and University affiliation processes, NAAC and NBA accreditations, ISO certification, development of Library, Design and development of central computing facility, Planning, allotment and layouts of the department labs, staff rooms, office, placement cell and sports infrastructure. He was awarded the Best Teacher award from FISAT in the year 2011 for his overall contributions. He has authored 20 publications in Conferences and Journals and has been a resource person for training programs and FDPs. He has organised as well as attended many FDPs, Conferences and outreach programs. Over a period of time, he has taught many subjects including Structural Analysis, Design of Steel Structures, Prestressed concrete structures, Finite Element Method, Strength of Materials, Mechanics of Solids, Engineering Graphics and Basic Civil Engineering. Dr. Elizabeth George is the Director of FISAT Business School. She is a post graduate in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing from University of Madras. She did her M.Phil in Management from Bharathiar University and is UGC-NET qualified. She holds a PhD in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). She has 28 years of experience in teaching at post graduate level and she is an authorised PhD guide of Mahatma Gandhi university. Prior to joining FISAT, she was the Principal and Professor in DC School of Management and Technology, Vagamon. She has served as the Head of Department in Department of Business Administration (MBA), MES College, Marampally, Aluva and the Department of Management Studies, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady. Dr. Elizabeth George has attended and presented papers in various national and international seminars and chaired several national and international conferences. She has been a resource person for various MDPs and FDPs. She has published more than 35 articles in nationally and internationally renowned journals such as Thomson Reuters and Scopus Indexed journals. She has authored three books including Psychological Empowerment and Job Satisfaction in Banking Sector (published by Palgrave Macmillan Publication, UK), Effectiveness of Employee Training Programme and Counselling skills for Managers. She is the Review committee member of several national/ international journals, Editorial Board Member of Kelaniya Journal of HRM, Sri Lanka and is life-member of NIPM and ISTD. Her area of interest in teaching and research includes Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Work Life Balance, Employee Empowerment, Human Resource Development and Employee Counselling.

Dr. Archana R received B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from RIT (Government Engineering College), Kottayam in the year 1997 and M.Tech degree in Instrumentation and Control from National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) in 2008. She received Ph.D from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in the year 2016 under the Guidance of Dr. R Gopikakumari and Dr. A Unnikrishnan. Her research is in the topic “Modelling and Analysis of Chaotic Systems in Nature”. She has been teaching under-graduate and graduate courses since the year 1997. Dr.Archana R is recognized as a Ph.D Research Supervisor by Kerala Technological University (KTU), Kerala and is guiding one Ph.D research scholar. She is a reviewer of some International Journals and was session chair for some reputed international conferences. Dr. Archana R joined as a faculty in the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department, Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly, Kerala, India in the year 2002 and continues there till date. In addition to the academic works she has been the staff in charge- Arts club FISAT from 2008-2018 and was instrumental in the coordination of inter and intra collegiate arts festivals “Bharatham” and “Arangu” during her tenure. She had received the Best Teacher Award FISAT in the year 2010. She has authored around 20 national and international journal and conference papers and some of them received best paper awards. Her areas of interest are nonlinear dynamics, System Modelling, Chaotic System Theory, Soft Computing Techniques, Electrical Machines etc.Dr.Archana R has secured a 20 year patent on ‘Wireless Sensor Networks Lifetime Maximization through Energy-Driven Partioning’.

Dr. Jyothish K. John is presently working as Controller of Examinations. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in 2003 from M.S. University, a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007 from Karunya University in Coimbatore, and Ph.D. in 2018 from the Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education. He joined FISAT in June 2004. His research interests pertain to the areas of Computer Networks, Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing. Dr. Jyothish K. John has published more than 18 research papers in various international journals and conferences. He has also been granted a patent. He has 19 years of teaching experience. He is a resource person and has handled expert classes and workshops in the areas of Cloud Computing, Network Simulators and Distributed Computing. He has attended more than 15 workshops and conferences. Dr. Jyothish K. John is a Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner. He has served as a reviewer for international journals and as a session chair for prestigious international conferences. He has organized 3 International conferences. The institution has recognized his contribution by Presenting the ‘Best Teacher Award’ in 2016.
