MoUs

The Department of Computer Applications, FISAT, actively collaborates with industries and professional organizations to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. These interactions provide students with opportunities for practical exposure, skill development, internships, training, expert interactions, and placements. Through MoUs, the department fosters sustained industry collaboration in technical training, workshops, industry visits, internships, placements, faculty development, and research.

UST, Kochi

To nurture and enhance the professional skills of students, the Department of Computer Applications signed an MoU with UST, Kochi, on 17 May 2022, which remains valid until terminated by mutual consent. The collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia interaction and provide industry support for various Industry Readiness Programmes, including:

  • Internships and placement opportunities
  • Industry training and visits
  • Expert talks and interactions

Pragmatix Learning EduTech Pvt Ltd, Kochi

The Department of Computer Applications, FISAT, signed an MoU with Pragmatix Learning EduTech Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, on 8 June 2017, which remains valid until terminated by mutual consent. The key objectives of the collaboration include:

  • Providing aptitude, technical, and soft-skills training for final-year MCA students
  • Providing industry exposure through specialized training programmes
  • Conducting seminars and workshops on emerging technologies and contemporary areas

Logix Space Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Kochi

The Department of Computer Applications, FISAT, entered into an MoU with Logix Space Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, on 15 February 2024, and the MoU remains valid to date. The collaboration focuses on enhancing students’ practical skills, software development capabilities, and industry readiness through industry-oriented training, internships, software development activities, and placement support. The key areas of collaboration include:

  • Software development and practical skill development
  • Internship opportunities and industry exposure
  • Placement and career support

Educ Kshetra, Infopark, Kochi

The Department of Computer Applications, FISAT, entered into an MoU with Educ Kshetra, Infopark, Kochi, Kerala, on 10 August 2025, and the MoU remains valid to date. The collaboration aims to enhance students’ industry readiness through skill development, practical training, and exposure to emerging technologies and professional practices. The key areas of collaboration include:

  • Industry-oriented technical training
  • Skill development and practical learning
  • Workshops and expert sessions
  • Industry exposure and internships
  • Career guidance and placement support

Signature Resource Hub

Signature Resource Hub is a software development and training institution specializing in app and portal development and placement-oriented training for professional education institutions. An MoU was signed between the Department of Computer Applications, FISAT, and Signature Resource Hub on 10 August 2022, for a period of three years. The key objectives of the MoU include:

  • Providing technical training for final-year MCA students
  • Providing industry exposure through specialized training programmes
  • Initiating and undertaking collaborative research projects
  • Conducting seminars and workshops on emerging technologies and areas of relevance
