Dr. Harish T M is currently working as Asst. Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Federal Institute of Science and Technology , Angamaly. He pursued his PhD in the field of welding metallurgy from Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) in 2022. He has completed Post Graduate degree in Welding Engineering from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Dept., NIT Trichy in 2012 and Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering From M.A College of Engineering, Kothamangalam in 2010. He started his teaching profession as Lecturer in Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut).He is a Professionally Qualified NDT Inspector – Received NDT Level II certificate as per American Society of Non Destructive Testing (ASNT) for Penetrant testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic testing, Radiographic Testing. He is a life time member of various professional bodies like Indian welding society(IWS) and Society of Failure Analysis (SFA). He has authored several research papers in reputed international journals and has attended numerous conferences in the International and National level. He received best technical paper award in National Conference conducted by PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. His research areas include Welding metallurgy, Friction stir welding and Processing, Composite materials, Advanced high temperature materials, Metallurgical Characterization and failure analysis, Traditional and Non-Traditional machining, NDT, Surface Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Technology.
