I am a faculty member in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at FISAT. My research interests span Embedded System Design, Image Processing, and Statistical Machine Learning models.
In collaboration with my team, I work on statistical computational models to compress both medical and satellite images. Our goal is to enhance visual experiences while using minimal information. Additionally, I specialize into embedded system firmware development and applications, particularly in the realms of Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). These interdisciplinary areas combine concepts from embedded systems, computer vision, image processing, and machine learning. This works finds practical applications in diverse fields, including:
- Image compression scenarios
- Robotics and IoT-based projects
- Medical imaging
- Industrial process automation
- Digital heritage preservation
As an educator, I thoroughly enjoy teaching Embedded Systems and Image Processing to undergraduate students. Beyond academia, I also serve as the Placement Officer, witnessing global brands recognize and appreciate our institute by offering our students excellent job profiles.
