Profile

 

Ms. Preethi M has completed her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from T.K.M College of Engineering, Kollam in 2005 and M. Tech in Structural Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in 2009. She has secured the first rank with gold medal with 9.68 CGPA in VIT University. She has worked as Project Quantity Surveyor in Sobha Developers Ltd., Bangalore for about 1.5yrs after her BTech and as Design Engineer in JADE Pvt.Ltd for about 1.5 yrs. She has a total of 15 years of teaching experience. She has been working in FISAT since 2014. Ms. Preethi has taught core subjects like Mechanics of Solids, Structural Design of concrete and steel structures, Quantity Surveying and Valuation, Basics of Civil Engineering, Airport Engineering, Engineering Mechanics and global electives like Environmental Impact Assessment and Disaster management and its mitigations . Her area of interest includes structural design of structures and material replacement study in different aspect.
