On August 1, 2024, NSS units 104 and 568 mobilized to assist the victims of the Wayanad landslide. Thanks to generous community donations, a significant amount of essential supplies, including clothing, food, and other necessities, were collected and organized.
Volunteers worked diligently to collect, categorize, and pack the items on the initiative of NSS members and with the aid of NCC members, guided by FISAT NSS program officers and motivated by principal Dr. Jacob Thomas V
The volunteers then delivered the prepared packages to Adi Shankara engg College, where they were assembled for distribution to affected families. This event illustrated the spirit of community and the significance of collaborative efforts during times of distress. We concluded with the hope that those who were suffering would find inner strength.
