The country’s growing energy demand, combined with the problems posed by ever-increasing fuel prices, risks to energy security, and climate change, necessitates the utilisation of the country’s underutilised renewable energy resources. The goal of the advanced research centre for power converters is to produce efficient and high-performance power converters and controllers that can harvest and transform power from a variety of renewable energy sources.
