Centre for Research and Innovations in Signal Processing (CRISP)

In 2010, the Centre for Research and Innovations in Signal Processing (CRISP) was established in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department with the goal of supporting DSP hands-on projects at the undergraduate level, DSP research and development at the postgraduate level, and consultancy. Various members of faculty and students make up the research team. Matlab, Simulators for various DSP processors, newest TMS DSP Starter Kits, Beagle boards, FPGA kits, Ansoft HFSS, Q3D extractor, SIwave, and Designer are all available in the lab. In 2011, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Delhi awarded the research centre a grant in aid of Rs. 4.75 lakhs. Many B.Tech. and M.Tech. students make use of the research center’s resources.
