GROUP DISCUSSION

Group discussions give a lot of opportunities for the students to think and share their views on the topic being dealt with in the class. The students are divided into groups of 10 each, and the topics are given two days before.  The topics are strictly from the syllabus.

VIDEO TOOLS

The Students get several opportunities to watch videos on the subjects that are taken in the class. There are videos on Group Discussions, Interview Skills, and TED Talks. The students watch these videos during the lab sessions in the Language lab. These sessions play a vital role in developing the personality and communication skills of the students.

Collaborative Learning

The aim of Collaborative Teaching Method: Jigsaw Technique is to embrace students in cooperative learning strategy that helps students create their own learning. Students are arranged in groups and assigned a physics problem. In their groups, students learn to solve physics problems well enough and will be able to teach it to another group of students.

Objectives of the activity:

1)      At the end of this activity, students become experts on the learning as they teach their peers.

2)      This technique brings lessons to life and challenges students to create their own learning.

3)      This challenge engages students and encourages them to share their learning with others.
