FISAT has ample facilities to engage and reach students anywhere and anytime outside the traditional classroom setting, using technology to deliver lessons and materials.

Webex FISAT uses Webex to provide facilities for remote learning. Webex Meetings through its cloud-based web and video conferencing service, offers a seamless and integrated way for faculty, staff and students to create, communicate, collaborate and share. It provides media-rich, highly-engaged learning environments that enhance both the student experience and learning outcomes. Webex allows teachers to host video meetings with ease. Students can now attend their most important lectures remotely from wherever they are. Faculty can create dynamic classrooms. Since WebEx is entirely supported in the cloud, students and faculty alike can access their WebEx application at any time, from any location, and on any WebEx-enabled device. This ensures that students always have access to the course materials. FISAT has 100 licences of Webex which can accommodate 1000 participants at a time. Open edX Open edX is the content management system (CMS) used by FISAT, using which faculty members deliver engaging online course content to their learners. Using Open edX, faculty members host and deploy their own branded instance of edX tailored specifically for their own online learning or training needs. Open edX platform includes a Learning Management System and a Studio: 1. LMS: The students of FISAT use the LMS to access and complete courses. Course material is typically composed of videos and problems while enabling learners to check their progress as they work through the course. Faculty members can use the LMS to admit new learners, generate reports, and oversee learner progress. This can all be managed through the Instructor Dashboard and is accessible through any Internet browser. 2. Studio: Open edX Studio is the side of the platform accessed through a browser by course administrators, instructors, and course authors. This is where the courses are created, designed and managed. Along with building out the course structure and adding course material, faculty members can use Studio to adjust the course schedule, determine grading policies, update course content, and more. Like the LMS, Studio can be accessed directly through any Internet browser. Open edX supports video, HTML text, and discussion elements. Course authors are also able to include their own wiki, or textbook-style elements that can be uploaded as a PDF file.
