GENDER EQUITY CELL FISAT 

The gender equity cell constituted by the Faculty and Students of FISAT, came into existence in  September 2021 with an aim of ensuring gender equity whilst also creating equal opportunities  for all the stakeholders.

Objectives

• Nurturing a receptive and gender sensitized community within the campus as well as in our immediate social surroundings.
• Providing a felicitous academic environment for furthering healthy interaction, mutual respect and good interpersonal relations amongst students hailing from diverse social economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Disseminating information and creating awareness amongst the students on the social, legal and constitutional frameworks that safeguard women and their rights, from any sort of impropriety, intolerance or inequity based on gender.
• Ensuring unprejudiced and equal career opportunities to all the genders.

Schedule of Meetings

• The cell will meet at least twice every academic year
• Other than that, emergency meetings shall be called on in any situation.
