| Webinar on “Digital design using Verilog ” |
On 8th August, 45 of the Electronics & Instrumentation department students participated in PALS prof talks series webinar on “Digital design using Verilog ” through which they learned the basics of how to design digital circuits using Verilog. (PanIIT Alumni Leadership Series)/PALS is an educational initiative by volunteers from Alumni Fraternity of various IIT’s, for the benefit of engineering students. Through a memorandum of understanding, we FISAT is a stakeholder of PALS initiatives. |

| Industrial Visit to Mukkudom Hydro Electric Power Plant |
On 5th October, as a part of their industrial visit, Semester three students visited Mukkudom Hydro Electric Power Plant which provided valuable hands-on learning experience for the Semester 3 B.Tech Electronics and Instrumentation students. They gained insights into the practical aspects of hydroelectric power generation and the importance of sustainable energy sources. |

On 8th October One-Day Workshop on Enabling IIoT and Digital Twin for Rotating Machinery was conducted by Modelicon Infotech, Bangalore. The participants gained a better understanding of these technologies and their potential benefits for industrial processes. The workshop also provided the participants with hands-on experience in building a simple IIoT and Digital Twin system. |
