Established in 2002, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly, is dedicated to excellence in technical education, research, and innovation. The department offers high-quality undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech), and doctoral (Ph.D) programs that equip students with strong fundamentals and industry-ready skills in electronics and communication technologies. Currently, the B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering is an NBA-accredited program with an annual intake of 120 students. The department also offers M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems with a sanctioned intake of 12 students and has been recognized as an approved research centre by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University for its Ph.D. program.
The ECE department is supported by a team of experienced and committed faculty and staff who foster academic excellence and mentor students in the latest developments in science and technology.
