M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems
The M Tech Course in VLSI & Embedded Systems, introduced in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2014 aims at providing an in-depth knowledge in areas of hardware architectures and chip design.
The course focusses on both front end & back end design of chip manufacturing. Students can explore the areas of HDL languages, simulation and synthesis, verification methods, digital design, analog design and low power methods. The course also provides a deep insight into embedded systems by dealing with latest processor architectures, hardware software co design and RTOS.
The department is fully equipped with the latest design software and hardware platforms. Students can design their chips up to 90nm by using alliance cad tools and Cadence design Software. Spice simulation software provides a platform for circuit analysis.
