The Department of Civil Engineering started offering a B.Tech programme in Civil Engineering in the year 2011 with an intake of 60, which was increased to 120 in the year 2013. The B.Tech programme is NBA accredited upto June 2027. M.Tech in Structural Engineering and Construction Management was added in the year 2014 with an intake of 24. A team of qualified faculty with ample experience is the highlight of the Department.
The B.Tech graduate program in Civil Engineering envisages to provide students with a good understanding of Civil Engineering solutions in a global, societal and environmental context, consistent with the principles of sustainable development. The course will make the students capable in identifying, formulating and solving civil engineering problems that meet specified performance, cost, time, safety and other quality needs and objectives with professional and ethical responsibility.
The M.Tech graduate program in Structural Engineering and Construction Management focuses to impart advanced knowledge in the field of Structural Engineering and Construction Management and make them capable of providing solutions with professional and ethical responsibility.
