Research Activities
Major Milestones
The Department received a research grant from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE ) , a sum of five lakhs for a period of three years under the research promotion scheme in 2014.The amount was utilized to procure development boards for design and development of motor drive controllers for special electrical machines.
Research Lab
The Center for Advanced Research in Power Converters started in 2015 aimed at achieving excellence through industrial collaborations, thereby sharing the technical knowledge and providing transformative industry standard solutions to many of the benchmark problems.
