Established in 2006, the Department of Computer Applications at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) offers a distinguished two-year MCA programme with an annual intake of 120 students and a PhD Programme. Affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and recognized by AICTE, both the programmes aim to empower individuals aspiring to excel in the field of technology.
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme is a two-year postgraduate programme that focuses on the study of information technology and computer science. Encompassing a wide array of subjects including programming languages, advanced data structures, databases, software engineering, web development, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and more, the MCA programme enables students to specialize in specific areas of computer science. This specialization enhances their expertise and increases employability in the dynamic field of IT.
