Spectrospect- an IEEE event sponsored by the Signal Processing Society
IEEE FISAT Student Branch launched its highly anticipated two-day event, “Spectrospect,” in collaboration with the IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter at Federal Institute of Science and Technology, Angamaly on 6th April 2024. The IEEE FISAT SB received afunding of 3000 USD from IEEE SPS global. The event’s inauguration ceremony kicked off at 9:30 am, showcasing an impressive array of guests and speakers. Ms. Arsha M Joby, Secretary of IEEE FISAT SB, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. Dr. Jacob Thomas, Principal, gave the presidential address.
Following the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of the event, attendees were captivated by the inaugural address delivered by Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Head of the Atmospheric and Space Science Avionics and Checkout Division. With his profound expertise in the field, Mr. Kumar’s enlightening speech delved into the latest advancements in atmospheric and space sciences, seamlessly aligning with the event’s theme of signal processing and networking. His address not only shed light on cutting-edge developments but also ignited inspiration among the students, setting a vibrant atmosphere for the enlightening journey ahead. Mr. Sarath S, Secretary of IEEE SPS Kerala Chapter, and Ms. Helen Anil, Chair of IEEE SPS FISAT SBC, provided a facilitation address. The inauguration ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Samanuai A, Chair of IEEE FISAT SB.
