FISAT Hosts All Kerala Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition.

Angamaly: An All Kerala Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition was successfully conducted at the Federal Institute of Science & Technology (FISAT) on February 19, 2025. The debate revolved around the thought-provoking topic, “Are India’s Wildlife Protection Laws Favouring Animals Over Human Lives?”

The competition witnessed participation from several colleges across the state, with Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Kodakara, emerging as the winner while FISAT, Angamaly, secured the second prize in the keenly contested event.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by FISAT Chairman Shri Shimith P.R., Principal Dr. Jacob Thomas V., Vice Principal Dr. Mini P. R., Dean Dr. G. Unnikartha, and Science and Humanities HoD Ms. Honeymol P. Chacko. The event was coordinated by Thomas Philip, Sajana Shamsuddin, and Nizamudeen Akbar.

The debate was organized by Rolling Stone, the Literary Association of FISAT, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Humanities, underscoring the institution’s commitment to fostering critical thinking and intellectual discourse among students.
