A seminar on āThe Future of Mobility: Integrating Embedded Systems and Robotics in EV Infrastructureā was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, FISAT in association with Electra and FISTAA. The seminar was conducted on 23 February 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Civil Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Govind S Warrier, who is currently working as an Embedded Systems Designer at Swapp Design Private Limited, Bengaluru. The program aimed to provide students with insights into emerging technologies in EV infrastructure, particularly focusing on the integration of embedded systems and robotics.During the seminar, the speaker explained the growing importance of electric mobility and the need for advanced infrastructure to support EV adoption. He discussed how embedded systems play a vital role in EV charging stations, battery management systems, and smart grid integration. The session also highlighted how robotics can automate processes such as battery swapping, automated charging, and maintenance operations, thereby improving efficiency and reducing human intervention. Mr. Govind S Warrier also shared practical knowledge from his industry experience, explaining the real-world challenges faced while designing embedded solutions for EV infrastructure. Students actively participated in the discussion and gained valuable insights into the future of EV technology, automation, and robotics in transportation systems. The program helped participants understand how emerging technologies are shaping the future of mobility and inspired them to explore research and career opportunities in this domain.
